University College

Heather will meet you at the Freshman Center!

One of the truly unique features of the ILC is that it brings together a variety of services to help first year students.

University College is located in the ILC as a resource to support freshmen as they transition from high school to college.  It is one of the 14 degree granting undergraduate colleges and offers the Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies.  Through its Advising Specialists, programs and services, it provides a wealth of knowledge about advising, major exploration, and successful academic transition into the university. It is also the gateway to excellent academic resources such as tutoring through MASTR (Math and Science Tutoring Resource, the Writing Center and the Writing Skills Improvement Program, and learning assistance support through the University Learning Center.
