EDUCAUSE Center for Applied Research (ECAR)
The EDUCAUSE Center for Applied Research (ECAR) provides timely research and analysis to help higher education leaders make better decisions about information technology (IT). The current environment is characterized by a lack of reliable information on IT in higher education. While there are ample anecdotes, there is little factual information and even less analysis. And the central issue may not be IT.
The Univeristy is a subscriber to ECAR. You will need to create your own profile to access some ECAR materials.
Gateway to Educational Material (GEM)
GEM, the Gateway to Educational Material, maintains a clearing house of educational material that is web accessible. The GEM central database stores records and acts as a reference for material such as lesson plans, activities and tutorials. The University of Arizona is a contributing member of GEM.

National Learning Infrastructure Initiative (NLII)
Virtual communities of practice. Preparing for a new academy. Knowledge management in the digital age. After nearly 10 years of advocating the quality, cost, and access advantages of information technology in higher education, EDUCAUSE's National Learning Infrastructure Initiative (NLII) is placing itself on the far side of transformation and is laying groundwork for the path that will lead there.
